All Dogged Out Part 2

The day is gone and I'm still the stray. At least that's what I feel like. I thought I'd never see a day when I'd feel uncomfortable and so unwanted in my own home. I sit here in our...my room all alone. I remember him telling me that the dog didn't want to be outside alone. Yet, I sit on my bed in tears alone. Rejected. Dejected. Is my marriage over? I hate this feeling, but was this me getting my just deserts? Did he ever feel this horrible on account of me? Did he feel this unneeded? Are we merely coexisting?

All Dogged Out

I feel certain that I am going mad again. I feel we can't go through another of those terrible times. And I shan't recover this time- Virginia Woolf

After a long spell of not blogging, I've returned only to pour my heart out. There is a certain darkness that is ballooning inside of me, and it is about to pop. Yes! My place in my house (not home), is being taken over by a dog!

I can no longer compete for my husbands attention...LOVE. My worth has completely been replaced by a 2 year old. Dog!

Is it crazy that I am jealous? Is it even crazier that I'm starting to hate the dog? Seemingly, the hairy love of a dog, is everything in comparison to a woman's love. Have I become so complacent in my relationship that my husband has turned his attention elsewhere? I don't have the answers, nor is there a way to see inside of his head for the truth. My heart is slowly drifting. Am I too attached? Detaching? Or is he too attached? He? Husband. Dog? In any event, I'm all dogged out!

Save me

A broken, Prima ballerina. She's spinning. Spinning. Spinning. UNFOCUSED. She's falling and you can see it through her closed...OPENED? Eyes. As she licks her brand, she finds her 90 degree Junoesque type of beauty once again. Twisted. Her words are walking on tender toes. She fell and is now drowning in his and her gore. But, "I'm the only one who needed saving." Stay. Clear. Flat-------ed.

Chew on this neckbone.

I hope that Chris Brown's newly hard-boiled neck tattoo ( of a severely beaten woman), is not his way of paying homage to Rhianna's evolution. She recently sat down with Oprah and showed a lionhearted yet, warm side to her continued love and fondness for the pop star.

Any woman that has been a victim of domestic violence knows all too well that it is operose to forgive the abuser, but to try and convey your reasoning is even heavier.

Chris Brown, is an artist and though it seems like over the past few years his eccentric semblance has become his primary vocation, this learned behavior might be something he is trying to fight in his own way. After all, they say tattoos have a story behind them...A meaning. But, is his out of true remorse or simply for attention? Who can really understand, including him?

Tranquility sPARKs

Today was my eldest daughters last day of Apple Camp. There she wrote a short story (2 minutes in length) and animated the storyline. The camp taught her how to make music on garage band, make a movie (i.e., editing, applying the music, etc), and insert her music into different scenes. She and her fellow camper’s had the pleasure of watching their movie at the Apple Camp Festival. I must say, I was extremely proud of her and the fact that her storyline was applicable to what is going on today. Bullying.

After leaving camp, we sought out to do something else besides return home. Google, helped us find a beautiful park near our downtown theatre district. My 5 year old came up with the coolest earthy idea to sit under shade trees and draw pictures of the dreams we talked about on our way to the park. Needless to say, after we got there and took a few pictures of the beautiful picturesque sculptures that gives life to the park, my son skateboarded a bit, and my little one and I fed a beautiful tree our signatures with a now warped mailbox key, then it was time for us to go. Why? Because my eldest daughter DSI game sat at the bottom of a pool of water, only to be discovered it no longer had life. Saddened by this, she had a chance to realize that it felt like 103 degrees out and was immediately ready to go.

On our way back to the car, my creative minded toddler was determined to draw her picture and commenced to finding a spot on the bird and human excretion ladened steps and drew her picture. As I waited for her to finish her masterpiece, I saw a pair of sultry red shoes that were walked by a pair of aesthetic elongated legs. Atop, the frame of an intrinsic belle with gorg hair and a fierce physiognomy completed the search of defining strength, intellect, and true beauty. If she ever reads this, I hope she sees that I appreciated her generosity in letting me take her picture.

We have arrived home, and as expected the kids are now moping and have learned that being in the sun (a bit of vitamin D is always useful) or losing something of a material nature, can often defeat boredom.

Four legged CROOKS

Is it a plague? I wAs reading outside and listening to the raindrops sing me a little ditty in A lightLESS minor key. The lyrics were catchy, "Peel yourself away from the book before you are obviousness to the gun toting crook." So any who, I got out of my car to find it was engulfed by these nasty little things. I tore to my door. You see, frogs were the crooks who got away with MUCH. My perfect calm.

Precious gifts

Such a beautiful afternoon. I remember when mother would allocate certain days for one on one time. One of us would have her all to ourselves for a couple of hours. Recently, I started this ritual and it has created a brass-bound bond between my children and I. Today was my 9 year olds day. The reason? The youngest is sick and the eldest is UNFORTUNATELY, punished.

So here we are where she so simply chose the park, beautiful weather, drawing and of course her comic digest.

The intelligible-simple as ABC things. A radiant countenance.
